Hey guys weather looks alright (slightly better than we have seen) for Saturday with some possible breaks in the rain. If anyone is thinking about doing a crevasse rescue refresher to get their head in the game this is the chance.
We want to build our mountain skills up so we can get into some wild places this winter and spring!
Also, if there is a date in the next two weeks that works for you and your friends (pass holders or not) please msg us on the app. Pass holders get 30% off all courses and refreshers.
This first refresher will be dry land and focus on:
Prep and Prevention
Equipment
Knots
Tie in for glacier travel
Basic Rescue

Hey Gavin,
Do we have a meeting place yet? Anything I need to bring other than a harness and weather gear?
Thanks,
Brian
We will ideally focus on dry land skills near Squamish. However depending on group experience and interest we can easily find a spot with snow that we can drive to. Typically a full crevasse rescue course is 2 or more days and incorporates a dry land and field day.
Hi Gavin, is this out in the field ie. snow or “dry” land in Squamish?
