Welcome everyone to another year of the Aurora Backcountry Pass!! Here is the the general plan for next week ( Nov 30 - Dec 7th) Nov 30 and Dec 1 - Free Avalanche Safety Days, book now and get a good refresher. No days taken off your pass :) The MEET LOCATION will be the chain up parking lot up Diamond Head - Click the Diamond Head button in meet locations in your APP.

Monday Dec 2 to Friday December 6th. I am going to keep the plan at Whistler for now. I see a possible rise in freezing levels coming... so I want to stay high. There could be a possibility to travel on some glaciers (maybe) so please make sure you all have the basic glacier travel kit. There is a link to the required equipment in the app in the members resources page.

One bit of advice, BOOK EARLY. You can alway cancel more than 24 hours out if the conditions change. ALSO, just a reminder... we don't know exactly were we are going more than a few days out. Objective are determined based on the number of people booked, the general ability of the people booked, and of course the conditions. If you ask where we are going in February... the answer is "we don't know". This ensures that we always go to the best locations for the group. In the spring when conditions and weather are more predicable we can start to plan some larger objectives further out. I hope this helps! Book Here or on your App!
