Weekly Update

Alright folks, here’s the scoop for the coming weekend with the Aurora Backcountry Pass: It's far too early for accurate Wx forecasts so don’t expect a precise itinerary anytime soon. As usual, we’ll wait until about a day or two before to lock down our final routes. For now, conditions look pretty decent. The snowpack has settled into something we can actually travel on without feeling like we’re going to hit a rock every turn, so that’s a plus. I’ve got my eye on pushing out into the glaciers and beyond Blackcomb, maybe hitting Decker and the Mount Paterson area. This is what I WANT to do, however its impossible to lock this in this far out... Wednesday and Thursday will remain a Rendezvous meet location at 9am. Nothing wrong with a nice walk in the park. Friday looks like a possible reset day with 10-15cm falling on Thursday 😀
