Guide Announcments

Hey everybody, I'm back from Japan and it looks like I brought the snow with me 😀 Matty Haines and I are scheduled for the next 10 days. I'll be guiding this Thursday, Friday and then next week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Matty Haines is leading this weekend.

The freezing level is lowering, and we have some precip on the way. If it's smooth out there, this should make things quite nice. Now I usually don't pay much attention to any weather beyond two or three days, so let's hope the precip amounts remain or get larger. Either way, I'll send out an announcement closer to our dates. In the meantime, feel free to book as things are looking positive.

The plan for Saturday is to head into the Whistler backcountry to play around in the freshly fallen storm snow. We still need a few more people to sign up for the day to go forward.

It’s confirmed looks like snow is on the way starting Tuesday. Winter is back on!

Well the weather is here to stay, at least for this weekend.

Colder and colder temps will settle in as that ridge slips south directing some northerly outflow towards us.

The crust believe it or not is starting to facet out and make for more enjoyable travel.
