New for the 2022/23 season, announcing the Aurora Backcountry Pass Mentorship and Skill Development Program. Along with expert coaching and mentorship, our guide team will create specifically for you, a formalized plan to help you fill those weak spots in your skillset. Our goal is to give you appropriate confidence to help you achieve your development milestones throughout the entire season.

The Aurora Backcountry Pass offers three levels in this optional upgrade program, each of which builds upon the pass offering.

BASIC​

SEASON MENTORSHIP

1:1 MENTORSHIP​

Basic

  • Included with every pass. We always encourage passholders to engage with our guide

  • Watch & learn with experts in the field

  • Objective go/no-go decisions that your guide will teach you

  • Engage with guides each week via messages

  • Learn from our regular snowpack & weather synopsis​

Season Mentorship

  • Complete our comprehensive skills questionairre

  • Get matched with a guide for a 1:1 season consultation (1hr)

  • Receive your custom season development plan

  • Get additional feedback on how you're doing each time you go out with ABC Pass

  • End of season follow-up to see how it went (30 minutes)

  • + Everything from Basic

1:1 Mentorship

  • Get everything from the "Season Mentorship"

  • Have a monthly check in with your guide mentor (30min)

  • Five 1hr consults with a guide to help you plan a big trip or work through something tricky.

  • Trade your 5 1hr consults for a 1:1 private day with your mentor.
