Getting stuck in a whiteout is a very anxiety inducing experience especially if you traveling on a glacier. When your most dominant sense is taken away from you it is important that you have the tools and skills to continue. Whiteout navigation is more than just map and compass work. It's preplanning and strategy. Out 1 day class will teach you how to make a whiteout navigation plan, hone your map and compass skills, and travel across a glacier with confidence. Learn some tricks of the trade from our experienced ACMG guides. This course is best paired with our Advanced Crevasse Rescue Course. NOTE: This is NOT a Crevasse Rescue Course. This is a course to give you the skills needed to greatly reduce the risk of skiing into a crevasse during a whiteout.
