Happy Hollidays!!
Hi everyone, I’m Jason White one of the apprentice guides at Aurora. Here with a quick hello, nice to meet you.
We’ve all seen how great the conditions have been this week from the update vids Dan and Matty Haines have posted. So something a bit different.

Pictured is a fellow I was out with yesterday on encore ridge, top of crispy glades for those that know. Definitely not the biggest or steepest run but the first Canadian powder run my new German friend is about to ride. The short of it is, at the bottom of the run that he hooted and hollered down. He slapped my fist bump out of the way and scream…”I’m so excited I need to hug you”. There we were two dudes that just met that morning hugging it out at the bottom of a powder run.
So try to fit a touring day or two in during this busy holiday season. And enjoy the surroundings, great conditions and people you’re with….treat it like your first pow run:)
Looking forward to meeting some of you out on slopes.
P.S.
With the craziness of this time of year…shopping, parties, kids Xmas parties, skiing/riding :) My go to move for this week has been touring, riding pow, then once done swinging by Whistler Kitchen Store or Armchair Books grabbing those last minute gifts, a beverage of choice and slide into that holiday party!
Happy holidays all!!

Awesome!
